Rasmussen College Hosting Free Virtual Career Fair
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, will host its first Virtual Career Fair Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. CDT. The free event will help students, graduates and community members advance their job-seeking skills and gain access to career experts and leading employers from across the country. Job seekers will have the opportunity to network with potential employers, receive resume consultations and participate in mock interviews with Rasmussen College career development professionals. The event allows for convenient access to real-time hiring professionals from the comfort of your own home or office.

Rasmussen College Recognizes National Cyber Security Awareness Month
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced two upcoming events as well as the launch of a new animated infographic on social media security in recognition of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s annual campaign is designed to raise awareness about the importance of cyber security as well as provide the public with tools and resources needed to be safe online. This year, Rasmussen College will host two cyber security awareness events–the first on Tue., Oct. 24 in the Twin Cities and the second on Wed., Oct. 25 in Tampa to help students, staff and community members learn how to protect their digital identity from cyber-crime. Both events are free and open to the public.

Rasmussen College to Host Seventh Annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced plans to host its seventh annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast on Thur., Oct. 19 in Vadnais Heights, Minn. Around 400 current and aspiring leaders are expected to attend the two-hour event where they will have the opportunity to connect with local nonprofits and women’s organizations, network with professionals from across the Twin Cities and hear from distinguished speaker, 2017 WNBA Championship coach Cheryl Reeve. As the keynote speaker, the Minnesota Lynx head coach will speak to attendees about this year’s theme, “Creating a Championship Culture.”

Rasmussen College Expands Accelerated Entrance Options for Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree to Fargo
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced the expansion of its accelerated entrance options for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree to its Fargo, N.D. campus. The Rasmussen College BSN degree program, which is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), is now available with two accelerated pre-licensure entrance options in Fargo with classes beginning in January. The entrance options are designed for students who are committed to the nursing profession and eager to launch their careers as quickly as possible, as well as help fill a significant need for registered nurses (RNs) with Bachelor’s degrees in North Dakota. Additionally, the campus will open a new nursing simulation lab to provide an enhanced learning experience for its Fargo accelerated BSN students and prepare them to enter today’s growing healthcare field.

Rasmussen College Fort Myers Campus to Reopen Monday
Rasmussen College today announced plans to reopen its Fort Myers campus on Monday. The campus has been closed since Thur., Sept. 7 to allow students, faculty and staff time to prepare for Hurricane Irma and be safe. Following the storm, the campus has been struggling with power outages but has determined it will be able to resume operations Mon., Sept. 18.

Rasmussen College continues to assess the damage from Hurricane Irma to its Fort Myers campus and surrounding area. At this time, the campus remains closed until further notice.

Rasmussen College Ocala Campuses to Reopen Wednesday Following Hurricane Irma
Rasmussen College today announced it will reopen its Ocala campuses Wednesday morning. The Ocala and Ocala School of Nursing campuses have been closed since Fri., Sept. 8 due to Hurricane Irma. The College has assessed the damage and determined it is safe to resume operations tomorrow.

Rasmussen College Tampa Bay Area Campuses to Reopen Wednesday Following Hurricane Irma
Rasmussen College today announced it will reopen its Tampa Bay area campuses Wednesday morning. The Tampa/Brandon, New Port Richey/West Pasco and Land O’ Lakes/East Pasco campuses have been closed since Fri., Sept. 8 due to Hurricane Irma. The College has assessed the damage and determined it is safe to resume operations tomorrow.
