11/25/2014Rasmussen College Health Information Management Bachelor's Degree Earns CAHIIM Accreditation
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, announced today its Health Information Management (HIM) Bachelor's degree program has earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). CAHIIM is an independent accrediting organization whose mission is to "serve the public interest by establishing and enforcing quality accreditation standards for health informatics and health information management educational programs." The accreditation provides certification eligibility and increased job marketability for graduates and demonstrates the Rasmussen College commitment to providing the highest-quality education possible for its HIM students.
11/20/2014Rasmussen College RN to BSN Degree Program Earns CCNE Accreditation
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, announced today that its Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree program has earned accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the nation's premier accrediting body for bachelor's- and graduate-level nursing degree programs. Earning national accreditation from the CCNE demonstrates the Rasmussen College RN to BSN degree program meets the highest standards for quality and integrity in nursing education and prepares professionals to improve health care in the United States.
11/13/2014Rasmussen College Expands Innovative Flex Choice Learning Option To Four Additional Associate’s Degree Programs
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, today announced the expansion of its innovative Flex Choice learning option to four additional associate’s degree programs with classes beginning in January 2015. Flex Choice–which combines faculty-led courses with self-paced, competency-based courses that are offered at no additional cost–is immediately available for qualified students enrolling in the following Associate’s degree programs: Early Childhood Education, Information Technology Management, Paralegal and Graphic Design. The Flex Choice option is designed to save students up to $14,000 on tuition and graduate up to six months sooner, as compared to a traditional Associate’s degree from Rasmussen College. Savings do vary by program.
11/6/2014Rasmussen College Selects Three School Of Business Students To Send To The 2014 Collegiate DECA Leadership Academy
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, is proud to select three School of Business students to send to the 2014 Collegiate DECA Leadership Academy Nov. 13-15 in New York City. During the conference, students Lee Hoang, Cortney Molle and Kristina Belanger will gain valuable experience in teamwork and leadership skills and will have access to jobs and internships while they network with industry professionals and DECA sponsors from around the country.
10/30/2014Rasmussen College Launches Human Services Bachelor's Degree Completion Program
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today launched a Human Services Bachelor's degree program in the College's AcceleratED format. The fully online bachelor's degree completion program is designed to help human services professionals advance their careers in as few as 18 months. The new program is also being offered at an affordable $260 per credit, saving students money on the total cost of their degree. Students can enroll in the Human Services AccelertatED Bachelor's degree program immediately, with classes beginning in January 2015.

Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, is proud to announce its student tutoring training program, Tutor Excellence, has been awarded the National College Learning Center Association (NCLCA) Innovative Use of Technology Award. The award recognizes learning centers that use innovative technology solutions to improve student learning and enhance learning strategies. Representatives from the Rasmussen College Library and Learning Center accepted the award during the NCLCA's annual conference Oct. 1-4 in Albuquerque, N.M.
9/2/2014Rasmussen College To Host Free Community Career Fairs Nationwide
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, is hosting free a Community Career Fair on Sept. 8-12 at 20 Rasmussen College campus locations across the country. As the national job market continues to improve, more Americans are looking to change jobs or career fields. The free, biannual Career Fair is designed to help job seekers make their dream careers real by connecting them with local employers, educating them on industry trends, introducing them to potential careers and helping them identify education and experience requirements as they begin the job-search process.
8/20/2014Rasmussen College Expands School Of Nursing In Kansas
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, announced today that it is expanding the School of Nursing to its Kansas campuses. Enrollment for the Professional Nursing Associate's degree program (ADN) is immediately available for qualified students at the Kansas City/Overland Park and Topeka campuses with classes beginning in October. The ADN program at both locations is approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. Rasmussen College also invites LPNs who wish to become registered nurses (RN) to enroll in its Professional Nursing Mobility Bridge Entrance Option, which is also available at both Kansas campuses.
7/29/2014Rasmussen College Remembers Board Member Thurston E. Manning, Ph.d.
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, is remembering its beloved Board Member, Thurston E. (Ted) Manning, Ph.D., who passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Dr. Manning, who was an inspirational Board member and avid supporter in career-focused education for Rasmussen College, will be deeply missed. He was 88.
7/24/2014Rasmussen College Expands Flex Choice Learning Option
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced the expansion of its Flex Choice learning option to two additional business degree programs with classes beginning October 2014.
