| 5/23/2013 | Rasmussen College Earns International Recognition For Its Student Tutoring Program The Rasmussen College Learning Center is proud to announce it has earned the International Tutor Training Program Certification for its student tutoring program, Tutor Excellence. The certification, which is awarded by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA), recognizes the successful work of tutors and sets an internationally accepted standard for skills and training. Rasmussen College is only the second college in the country with a tutoring program that spans multiple states to earn the certification. |
| 4/17/2013 | Rasmussen College Provides Insights To Proposed Pell Grant Changes To Improve Financial Aid Infrastructure In support of efforts to help reform the federal Pell Grant program for low-income college students, Rasmussen College Vice Chairman J. Michael Locke, provided insights on the Rethinking Pell Grants report released by the College Board. Locke was asked to provide additional commentary on how current financial aid policies are impacting college students and the need for change. |

The theme for the designated week, April 14 to April 20: “Early Years Are Learning Years,” aims to bring public attention to the needs of young children and their families, as well as recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. |
| 4/8/2013 | Rasmussen College Joins The Effort To Increase The Number Of Registered Organ And Tissue Donors In Wisconsin In an effort to increase the number of registered organ and tissue donors in Wisconsin, Rasmussen College is hosting a Donate Life Month event at the Wausau campus on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. The College is partnering with the University of Wisconsin Organ and Tissue Donation service and the American Tissue Services Foundation to educate the community about the need for organ and tissue donations and explain the donation process. |

| 3/14/2013 | Rasmussen College Adds Professional Nursing Degree Program At Two Illinois Campuses Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, announced today the addition of a Professional Nursing Associate’s Degree program to help meet the demand for registered nurses (RNs) in Illinois. The program is now being offered at the Rasmussen College Rockford and Romeoville/Joliet campuses. Enrollment is now underway and Professional Nursing classes will begin on both campuses in July 2013. |
