Rasmussen College Redesigns Technology Career-Focused Programs to Prepare Students to Work in Today’s Digital Economy
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced three newly redesigned technology career-focused degree programs: Network Systems Administration Associate’s degree, Information Technology Associate’s degree and the Information Technology Management Bachelor’s degree-completion programs. These degree options are designed to prepare students to enter in-demand technology careers and help close the technical skills gap in rapidly transforming fields.

Rasmussen College Awarded CDA® Gold Standard Training Certificate
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited* private college, is proud to be among a select group of early childhood education (ECE) training organizations to be awarded the CDA® Gold Standard Training Certificate. The new industry certification will better help ECE students find the high-quality training and support services they need to prepare for the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. The Council for Professional Recognition (herein referred to as the “Council”) recognized seven training organizations, including Rasmussen College, during an awards ceremony July 27 in Washington, D.C.

Rasmussen College Expands Competency-Based Education Model
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited* private college, recently expanded its Flex Choice® Competency-Based Education (CBE) program model to two additional programs—the Health and Wellness and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Leadership Bachelor’s degree-completion programs. The model, which first launched with the College’s seven business Bachelor’s degree-completion programs in Fall 2016, provides students with an efficient, relevant and flexible way to earn a college degree. The programs include competency-based education courses that allow students to earn credit for skills they already have while mastering the skills they need to complete their degree. Enrollment in both new programs is immediately available with classes beginning in August.

Rasmussen College Launches Surgical Technologist Associate’s Degree Program at Rockford Campus
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today launched a Surgical Technologist Associate’s degree program at its Rockford, Ill. campus with classes beginning in October. The program, which can be completed in as few as 21 months*, prepares students to work as a surgical technologist—one of the fastest-growing professions in the healthcare field.

Rasmussen College Gives Back During Ninth Annual Community Service Day
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, will give back to its local communities on Fri., July 21 during the College’s ninth annual Community Service Day. Approximately 900 employees and students from its 22 campuses and three central offices will participate in the national service day event. Through this annual effort, staff and students will volunteer more than 2,700 hours in just one 24-hour period.

Rasmussen College Expands Accelerated Entrance Options for Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree to Ocala
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced the expansion of its accelerated entrance options for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree to its Ocala, Fla. campus. The Rasmussen College BSN degree program, which is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE),1 is now available with two accelerated pre-licensure entrance options in Ocala with classes beginning in July. The entrance options are designed for students who are committed to the nursing profession and eager to launch their careers as quickly as possible, as well as help fill a significant need for registered nurses (RNs) with bachelor’s degrees in Florida.

Rasmussen College Launches Data Analytics Bachelor’s Degree Program
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced the launch of a new Data Analytics Bachelor’s degree completion-program.1 The flexible, cutting-edge program, offered fully online, is designed to meet the increasing need for professionals across the U.S. with data analytics skills. The degree completion-program, which can be completed in as few as 18 months,2 is immediately open for enrollment with classes scheduled to begin in July.

Rasmussen College Joins the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to Celebrate Week of the Young Child
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, joins the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to celebrate Week of the Young Child (WOYC) April 24–28. NAEYC has celebrated WOYC annually since 1971. The week is dedicated to better meeting the needs of our country’s young children, their families and those who teach them. This year, Rasmussen College will honor diverse families and bring awareness to anti-bias education. Its theme, Celebrating Our Youngest Learners: Honoring Diverse Families, will be celebrated throughout the College’s 22 campuses.

Rasmussen College Wisconsin Nursing Programs Earn ACEN Accreditation
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced its Professional Nursing Associate’s degree programs in Green Bay and Wausau, Wisc. have earned programmatic accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).1 Accreditation signifies the Green Bay and Wausau nursing programs have met or exceeded standards and criteria for educational quality in nursing curriculum and preparation for nursing students to work successfully in the profession.

Rasmussen College Opens Chicago-Based Learning Center, Providing Access to Higher Education
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced the opening of a new learning center in southwest Chicago. The Rasmussen College Centro de Aprendizaje (Learning Center), located at 3948 West 55th Street, will expand access to higher education by providing computer workstations, connectivity and academic coaching and advising to local high school students taking dual-credit courses at Rasmussen College as well as degree-seeking adult students. The Centro de Aprendizaje is immediately available to the College’s dual-credit high school students as well as community members to learn more about earning a degree at Rasmussen College.
