Rasmussen College Now Offering Bachelor Of Science In Business Management Degree
Roseville, MN - Rasmussen College is pleased to announce that the school is launching a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree at its five Minnesota campuses. Students can enroll now for the program, with classes beginning October 2, 2006.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, less than 30% of Minnesota residents have earned a Bachelor’s degree. Rasmussen College’s new Bachelor of Science program will provide interested candidates with the opportunity to earn this degree at a regionally accredited college. According to Census Bureau data, individuals over the age of 25 with a bachelor’s degree earned, on average, over $49,000 a year in the U.S.
"Our students have been asking us for an opportunity to continue their education with us," said Michael Locke, CEO of Rasmussen College. "Our new bachelor's degree will allow students to move forward with their education within the Rasmussen community and prepare for more advanced management positions."
This is the first bachelor's degree program offered by Rasmussen College. Like its Associate of Applied Science Degree programs and Diploma programs, Rasmussen’s new Bachelor's Degree in Business Management is career-focused.
"Students will gain specific business skills that local employers have indicated to us that they need in job candidates," said Kristi Waite, President of Rasmussen College. "This program is a good fit for those who already have an Associate of Applied Science Degree and want to go back to school, and for those just starting their education."
