Rasmussen College Mankato to Host Financial Aid Seminar in Cooperation With Other Area Colleges
MANKATO, MN – January 2004 – Three area colleges will join forces on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 to present a Financial Aid Seminar for college bound students and their parents. The seminar is sponsored by Bethany Lutheran, SCTC, and Rasmussen College. The seminar begins at 7:00 P.M. at Rasmussen College - Mankato, 501 Holly Lane in Mankato.
Presenters at this event include Financial Aid staff from Rasmussen College. The seminar will be an opportunity for students and parents to research their payment options for college, including grants, loans, and scholarships.
The Financial Aid Seminar will also take a student through the process of applying for financial aid including tips on preventing application errors, sensible borrowing and college costs.
"The primary goal of this event is to provide information on financial resources to students and their parents so that they can meet their college expenses," said Toni Hobbs, Financial Aid Director at Rasmussen College. "We're here to help people understand what types of aid are available to them and how to apply."
In addition, Admissions Counselors from Rasmussen College, Bethany Lutheran College, and SCTC will also be on-hand to provide information on programs, class schedules, and the application process.
