Rasmussen College Now Offers Online Classes
ROSEVILLE, Minn - October 2000 - Distance education has been around for over 100 years offering an alternative delivery of academic courses to students unable to attend traditional campuses for a variety of reasons such as time, schedule, child-care demands, disability, location, or job.
Rasmussen College's online courses offered through the World Wide Web and the Internet are just another example of distance education meeting the needs of students who want to further their education and have access to life-long learning opportunities.
A simple definition of distance education is a method of education where the student is physically separated from the teacher. The distance education model Rasmussen College will use is based on developing our currently accredited courses utilizing an online software platform and place these courses on the Internet for students to participate in from home, work, school, public library or anywhere there is Internet access.
Rasmussen College offers a variety of business programs to its students. The college offers Degree, Diploma, and Certificate-programs ranging from 9 months to two-year A.A.S. degrees.
Rasmussen College's quarters begin in August, October, January, April, and
July. Contact the Admissions Department at the Rasmussen College campus nearest
you for information on how to get started!
