Rasmussen College's Mankato Campus is serving as a drop off point for Mankato Sharing Tree Gifts

MANKATO, MN -- December 2003 -- The Holiday Sharing Tree provides gifts to Blue Earth and Nicollet County families in need. Barry Madel founded the Sharing Tree in 1985. In its first year, the Sharing Tree provided gifts to 182 families and today the program reaches 3000 individuals annually.

Those interested in making a donation can donate cash or a gift at a number of locations throughout the Mankato area including Rasmussen College, Madison East Shopping Center, and River Hills Mall. The gifts are distributed by social service agencies. The last day to donate is December 20^th.
