How Rasmussen Prepared Me for This Job: Rasmussen took this, 41 year old, Navy Veteran and taught me how to be a person who fully believes in himself and what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication. I owe a great deal of my success to my instructors and the staff at Rasmussen - St. Cloud. Rasmussen taught me "professionalism" to the fullest.

Best Thing about My Job:  First and foremost, the best thing about my job is the people. I work with a great bunch of folks. We are a small diverse group of people and this is what makes us unique. I like the fact that I was able to get into the federal system. This allows me to work with our other IT sectors across the US, and our direct support folks in Washington, D.C. I really like the fact that I am the IT department at our facility. This allows me to grow as an IT Specialist, because it forces me to learn new processes and procedures. In most IT settings, you usually have someone to fall back on, if you need assistance. My assistance, when needed, comes from our support people 1,300 miles away, via phone or by IM. At the end of my workdays, I feel I have accomplished a great deal and go home happy.
