Just when I thought I would take a class that I could breeze through…it hit me. Accounting I is very difficult to me. I am not sure if it is the actual teacher or what, but everyone in the class is struggling. I have plenty of experience in Accounting, but it is not general accounting and bookkeeping.

For those if you that have not had accounting classes yet, accounting is backwards. What I mean by this is when you have a credit or deposit; it goes under the debit side in stead of credit. It is backwards compared to your normal banking system.

Then on top of all that, I had trouble getting the correct book. This first book I order was a study guide and not the actual book. I just finally got the appropriate book, which has put me behind 2 weeks. I am really struggling this semester. Is anyone hading out pep-talks because I need one.

Has anyone used the tutoring that Rasmussen provides? I think it would be a great time for me to utilize it, but I am not sure on how to get started. If anyone has utilized it and has some insight on tutoring I would love to hear about it.

On top of all this, I am still getting use to my new job. It has been tough because there is so much to learn and little time to do it. I have been overwhelmed with training and how to projects, it makes my head hurt. On top of it I have been working 12 hour days. I am hoping once I get use to everything, I will be quicker at the processes and perhaps be able to get out office the office on time.

I hope everyone else is having better luck than me. If you know anything about tutoring don’t forget to comment and give me detail. Or if you have any helpful tips on Accounting please let me know…I will take anything.
