I have worked within the field of education for more than 20 years. After beginning a career in criminal justice, I wanted to work in a capacity that would help promote the skills to avoid involvement in the criminal justice system. I then began working in the early childhood education field and found a wonderful fit! Along with teaching, I have also worn several other hats, including Center Director, Crisis Director/trouble shooter, and Director Trainer. I am also an early childhood trainer and consultant.
My education is as follows: I began with an undergraduate degree in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance from the University of Minnesota. I then got my K-6 Teaching License from Augsburg College and am currently pursuing a MEd in Reading and Literacy from Benedictine University.
