Romeoville is a suburb of Chicago with more than 36,000 residents (2006 estimate). Romeoville has been
called the "Stone City," because of its stone quarries. Route 66 once ran through Romeoville until
it was taken off the highway system in 1985. Located west of the Des Plaines River, Romeoville
acts as an escape from big city life.

Joliet is one of the largest suburbs of Chicago with more than 140,000 residents (2007 estimate). Located a few miles south of Romeoville, Joliet has an abundant amount of resources including museums, golf courses, shopping centers, theatres, and parks. Rialto Theatre is one of the most known landmarks in Joliet and was featured in the movie Stir of Echoes. Now closed, Joliet Prison has ties back to Hollywood as well. The show Prison Break and the movie The Blues Brothers, both had scenes filmed at the prison.
