The Eden Prairie Campus is located in a thriving city of 60,000 (about 20 minutes west of Minneapolis) that was named one of MONEY Magazine's "Best Places to Live" in America. The Eden Prairie Campus is home to The University Center - this is a place where students can come learn about the partnerships Rasmussen College has with other colleges and universities. Brooklyn Park, MN

The Brooklyn Park Campus is located in a town of just under 30,000, located along the banks of the Mississippi River, just miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis. Rasmussen College's Brooklyn Park Campus has degrees in a variety of in-demand fields that will help jump start your future and scheduling options that accommodate all students. Among the offerings at the Brooklyn Park Campus are classes and programs in the School of Allied Health, School of Business, School of Education, School of Justice Studies, School of Nursing, and School of Technology and Design.

In fact, the city of Minneapolis is home to more than 40 institutes of higher education, and the Twin Cities is home to a total of 130 colleges and universities. Off Campus

Off campus, Minneapolis offers many popular places to get away from the rigors of college life. Minneapolis is home to the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx. The Timberwolves and Lynx play at the Target Center, which is also home to many concerts featuring top musicians of all genres.

The state of Minnesota has nearly 11,850 lakes, and the Twin Cities has 929 alone, including some of the more popular in Minneapolis: Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriett, Lake of the Isles, and Cedar Lake. Calhoun and Harriet are the two biggest and include six beaches, two marinas, walking and biking trails and volleyball courts - all with restaurants, shopping and nightlife nearby. There is also easy access to the Mississippi River, which offers biking trails and scenic walkways.

Make it Happen In Minneapolis

Downtown Minneapolis is home to Nicollet Mall, an 11-block pedestrian mall that offers shopping and dining in the middle of the Minneapolis business district and just a short walk from Hennepin Avenue and the Warehouse District - the heart of downtown. Other popular hangouts in Minneapolis include First Avenue – a popular place to see live music, the Northeast district, Dinkytown and Uptown.

Other cultural attractions include the 11-acre Minneapolis sculpture Garden at Walker Art Center, the Guthrie Theatre, the Historic State Theatre, St. Anthony Falls and Stone Arch Bridge, the Basilica of St. Mary’s and the Mill City Museum.

The St. Paul Scene

Just across the river, St. Paul – Minnesota’s capitol city - is home to the Minnesota Wild (who play in the Xcel Energy Center, which also hosts many popular concerts and events), Saint Paul Saints, and many cultural attractions such as The Ordway, Grand Avenue and Summit Avenue. And just a short drive (or ride on the light rail if you choose) from Minneapolis is the Mall of America, America’s largest shopping mall with over 250 stores and restaurants.
