Small business owners typically play every role in the companies they run, from CEO to janitor and everything in between. The Internet has evolved into a goldmine of business growth opportunities, and now, entrepreneurs must play yet one more role in their businesses: Online marketer.

Rasmussen College is proud to partner with the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce to present online marketing opportunities for small businesses as part of the Chamber's 2011 Small Business Week (April 25-29) in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Turn Online Marketing Strategies into New Business will explore the fundamental concepts of expanding your business to the Internet, and how your business can acquire new customers in this new online realm.  Guest speaker, Josh Braaten of Rasmussen College, will discuss foundational strategies of effective online marketing, including search engine optimization (SEO), social media presence, and more.

The presentation is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27 2011, at the Westwood Conference Center in Wausau. Admission is $25 for members or $50 for the general public. (Pre-registration is required.)

If you've always wanted to expand your business to the Internet, but didn't know how, this interactive presentation is not to be missed. View the Small Business Week schedule for complete details.
