With our industry-experienced instructors guiding, developing, and elevating your design and animation skills through coursework that includes real-world projects, you will learn how to navigate with ease today’s most leading-edge industry digital design software. You will use Photoshop®, Illustrator®, Dreamweaver®, and Flash® to build user-friendly and engaging websites, render motion graphics, and create interactive media projects. As a Rasmussen College student, you will receive top-of-the-line software that is used by design professionals, including Autodesk® 3ds Max® and Master Collection Adobe® Creative Suite, as well as a VisTablet® for digital drawing.
With a comprehensive skill set and professional portfolio in hand, as a graduate, you will be equipped to hit the ground running as an interactive multimedia designer in any industry, or you can choose to further your education and seamlessly transfer your credits into our Digital Design and Animation Bachelor’s degree.

After you earn your Multimedia Technologies degree with a specialization in Digital Design and Animation, you will have a basic understanding of visual design, project management, and portfolio development. Understanding how to harness these skills will help you to be successful when creating multimedia material.

Drawing Design and Art Theory
You will complete a final drawing through the integration of various drawing approaches, concept development, design and planning, and final execution according to drawing skills learned in class.
Introduction to 3D Arts Animation
You will create an original logo utilizing spline modeling techniques.
3-Dimensional Animation
You will use preplanning, time management, and teamwork to produce complex animated scenes.
