How to Upgrade Your Computer's Memory [Tutorial]

Is your computer starting to lose its zip? If your system seems to be running slower than normal, you may need to upgrade your computer memory. Most new computers come equipped with just the bare minimum of memory. Upgrading your random access memory (RAM) is the fastest and most efficient way to speed up your system.

RAM is the most well-known form of computer memory. This is the main memory that programs can utilize on your personal computer. So how can you tell how much RAM memory you have and if you need to upgrade?

This episode of our Tech Tutorial Series will explain how to do just that. Mark Relf, Rasmussen College School of Technology state program coordinator, will walk you through this process and show you how to upgrade your computer’s memory if needed.
