This program is also offered on
our campuses.
Make a positive difference with an Early Childhood Education degree
All children enter the early childhood classroom with a variety of needs and abilities, and children with special needs may need alternative ways to develop and learn new things. With an Early Childhood Education degree, you will learn how to develop inclusive classrooms where groups of children with special needs, as well as, typically developing children can learn within the same classroom. Young children with special needs can have more opportunities for success in the classroom when supported by an informed early childhood teacher with the proper special needs teacher training.

Why Early Childhood Education?
At one point in time, children with special needs were not given the same priviledges of an education as other children. Now, we give the rights of an education to all people no matter the obstacles they’ve had to overcome in life. Your work will help build the character and confidence of a child with special needs. You could become a very important part of the educational system and help children’s education progress.
Early childhood education is a growing field, and at Rasmussen College we will help get you into that field as soon as possible. Our Career Services staff works hard to get our graduates employed and 100% of Rasmussen College Early Childhood Education graduates have been employed in their field of study.**
