John Canning And Stanford Goldblatt Join Rasmussen College, Inc.'s Board Of Directors

Chicago, IL — Rasmussen College, Inc. is pleased to announce that Stanford Goldblatt and John Canning have joined the company's Board of Directors.
John A. Canning is the Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Madison Dearborn Partners in Chicago, Illinois. Madison Dearborn Partners is one of the largest and most experienced private equity investment firms in the United States. The limited partners in Madison Dearborn Partner's investment funds include many of the largest endowments, public and private pension funds, and financial institutions in the U.S., as well as established institutional investors in Europe, Asia and Australia. Mr. Canning is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Northwestern University.
Stanford J. Goldblatt, Esq. is a partner in the corporate department of the international law firm Winston & Strawn LLP and has served as head of its private equity practice. Mr. Goldblatt was recently honored in the 2007 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for corporate law. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Goldblatt served as CEO of Goldblatt's department stores, a longtime successful Chicago area department store chain that operated from 1914 to 2003. Mr. Goldblatt has served on the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago since 1975 and was the first Chairman of the Board of the University of Chicago Hospitals.
