Rasmussen College to graduate its first Bachelor’s degree recipient this month

Donnie Murphy will be the first Minnesota recipient of a Bachelor’s degree in Rasmussen College history at the Rasmussen College Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Benson Hall located on the Bethel College campus.

More than 150 graduates, who have earned Associate’s degrees and diplomas, will join Murphy to walk across the graduation stage in their caps and gowns.

Murphy is graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and will be one of the student speakers at the ceremony, along with student speakers from the Brooklyn Park, Eden Prairie, and Eagan campuses.

The main speaker for the event is successful entrepreneur and social activist, Tom Tipton. Tipton is a known vocalist; having sang at professional baseball games and for the President of the United States in the White House.

Rasmussen welcomes all graduates’ family and friends to attend the event.
