MINNEAPOLIS (MN) — Team Johnson Motorsports #76 Monte Carlo of The American Legion will be sponsored by a system of colleges, Rasmussen College, Inc, in its upcoming NASCAR season.

Rasmussen College, Inc. is partnering with The American Legion, the world’s largest wartime veterans’ organization, in supporting the Johnson Family in its drive to win on the race track.

Just as Rasmussen College began as a family owned school in Minnesota, Team Johnson is a family owned racing team with local roots in Minnesota. The team includes father Jack, mother Debbie, and son/driver Jerick.

Rasmussen College, Inc. has grown to include six regionally accredited campuses in Minnesota, two in North Dakota, one in Illinois, and two in Florida. In addition, the subsidiary of Rasmussen College, Inc., Deltak Edu, supports online degrees ranging from Associate’s to Master’s level at ten top colleges and universities across the nation.

“We are excited to partner with two exceptional organizations such as Team Johnson and The American Legion,” Rasmussen College President Kristi Waite said. “This opportunity will allow us to reach a large audience on a personal level and give us a chance to inform racing fans of the high quality education that Rasmussen College offers online and at our eleven campuses.”

Rasmussen College will be sponsoring the team for several upcoming races including the NASCAR Grand National Division East West Inter-League Race, Friday, May 18, 2007 at Elko Speedway in Elko, MN. Look for Team Johnson at several Rasmussen Minnesota campuses on May 17.
