RASMUSSEN COLLEGE TO HOST GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION FOR NEW LAKE ELMO CAMPUS

Lake Elmo, MN — In celebration of its newest campus, Rasmussen College will host a Grand Opening ceremony on June 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Elmo campus.

The new Rasmussen College campus is located at 8565 Eagle Point Circle in Lake Elmo, Minnesota (next to the Machine Shed restaurant). Mayor Dean Johnston and the Lake Elmo Chamber of Commerce will do the honors by cutting the ceremonial ribbon at 12:00 p.m.

The community of Lake Elmo is invited to join in the celebration, which will include lunch and give-away prizes. Rasmussen College faculty and other distinguished guests will also be in attendance.

"The first Rasmussen College campus was opened in Minnesota more than a hundred years ago, and we are excited to continue providing the same quality of education and commitment to the city of Lake Elmo," Lake Elmo Campus Director Eric Rasmussen said.

This Rasmussen College campus features many amenities for students including a student-focused library, wireless internet access throughout the building, computer labs and a comfortable student lounge.

"At Rasmussen College our focus has always been on servicing our students," President of Rasmussen College Kristi Waite said. "By opening this new campus, we provide the Lake Elmo community with more resources and opportunities to enhance the community's educational experiences."

Classes began on the Lake Elmo campus on April 2 with on campus and online degree programs.
