GREEN BAY, WI — Rasmussen College recently received approval from its regional accrediting body, the Higher Learning Commission, to open its newest campus in Green Bay this Fall.

The Green Bay campus will be the first Rasmussen College campus in Wisconsin. Rasmussen College currently has eleven campuses: six in Minnesota, two in Florida, two in North Dakota, one in Rockford, IL, and operates Rasmussen College Online-a national online division of the college.

"The addition of the Green Bay campus is an exciting step for Rasmussen College," Rasmussen College President Kristi Waite said. "We are committed to serving the community of Green Bay and continuing to provide the high quality academic and support services we are known for."

The primary focus of the Green Bay campus will be the Allied Health program offered by Rasmussen College. This program includes Massage Therapy, Medical Transcriptions and Coding, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, and Health Information Technician. Many classes can be taken online or on campus, and students will have the laboratories outfitted with the latest technologies to gain practical experience in Allied Health.

Rasmussen College will also offer degree programs in Accounting, Business, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, and Digital Design and Advertising.

Rasmussen College was founded in 1900 and is regionally accredited, which is the highest accreditation a school can achieve, according to a recent article on accreditation by Robyn Tellefsen featured in Classes USA.

In addition to its high accreditation, Rasmussen College offers a strong community, personalized student support services and career placement assistance. To date, Rasmussen College has placed more than 90 percent of its students in careers for which they came to college to study.

The new Green Bay Campus will be located at 904 South Taylor Street, Suite 100 in Green Bay. The campus is scheduled to open in August, and the first on-campus classes will begin in October.
