Eagan (Minn.) — Rasmussen College is promoting health awareness at its Market Fest booth at Central Park’s Festival Grounds by giving away free pedometers on July 22.

Rasmussen College has partnered with the City of Eagan during its annual Market Fest community event, and will be featuring a booth every week to promote the college and to provide educational opportunities to the community.

The pedometers are sponsored by the School of Nursing and the School of Allied Health at Rasmussen College. Representatives from the college will be on-site to hand out information about healthy living and to provide more information on health.

The Eagan Market Fest began July 1 and will occur every Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. until September 16 at the Central Park Festival Grounds located at 1501 Central Parkway in Eagan. The festival includes more than 45 farmer’s market vendors, entertainment, and theme night activities for all ages including free art projects for children.

Rasmussen College will not be present at the July 15 fair, as it will be celebrating its 20 year anniversary in Eagan that day at the campus.
