Minneapolis (Minn.) — Dust off your air guitar and your favorite hair band t-shirt because Rasmussen College is bringing the first ever Rasmussen Rocks LIVE concert to Eden Prairie, Minn. on August 1 at Staring Lake Park.

Throughout the month of July, Rasmussen College in Eden Prairie will work with the Girl Scouts to collect school supplies to benefit the CAP Agency of Chaska. The collection will culminate on Saturday, August 1 with the Rasmussen Rocks LIVE benefit concert from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Live music, special appearances, and family friendly fun activities including an air guitar competition, lawn games, and face painting will be a part of this special fundraiser.

The musical line-up represents some of Rasmussen College’s finest including Basement Sun, Hip Replacement, Advent Down, and Medicine for Menace. Erberts and Gerberts will be at the event, selling food, and will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the CAP Agency fundraiser.

The CAP Agency is a private, not-for-profit organization providing services to residents of Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties. The CAP Agency served approximately 38,000 children, families, and senior citizens last year. The Agency is part of a statewide coalition of 29 agencies and a national association of nearly 1,000 community action agencies focused on reducing poverty.
