Mary Coons To Present Her Book Culturally Speaking At Rasmussen College

MINNEAPOLIS (Minn.)—Rasmussen College Eagan Campus is proud to welcome Mary Coons who will be presenting her book, Culturally Speaking: Promoting Cross-Cultural Awareness in a Post 9/11, on Thursday, August 27 at 2 p.m.
Coons will be exploring Arab culture and Islamic religion in an attempt to demystify cultural practices and beliefs. Her discussion will include a question and answer session with an Arab woman from the country of Bahrain.
“We are so excited to hear Mary speak about this important issue,” Rasmussen College Eagan Campus Director, Tammy Jackson said. “She will be taking questions from the audience and also signing her book,” she added.
Coons is the founder and president of Pen & Ink Communications, a small business specializing in writing family stories/life histories, as well as community histories. She is also the international editor of the Bahrain Telegraph, a monthly news magazine for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
