When it comes to catering to the needs of military students, Rasmussen College is among the best, according to G.I. Job’s magazine’s 2010 list of Military Friendly Schools . The list, which was published after an exhaustive search of more than 7,000 schools, honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America's veterans as students.

Schools on the list range from state universities and private colleges to community colleges and trade schools. The common bond is their shared priority of recruiting students with military experience.

Rasmussen College is a private, regionally accredited college offering numerous benefits to veterans, including voluntarily participating in the Yellow Ribbon Agreement with the Veteran’s Association. The Yellow Ribbon Program allows for additional funds to be made available to students when tuition and fees exceed the amount covered the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill.

A full story and detailed list of Military Friendly Schools will be highlighted in the annual Guide to Military Friendly Schools. For more information, please visit www.militaryfriendlyschools.com.
