Rockford, IL — Rasmussen College will be hosting an Allied Health Open House at its Rockford, Illinois campus on Tuesday, September 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Rasmussen College's Allied Health Programs offer degrees, certificates and diplomas in Medical Coding, Medical Transcription, Massage Therapy, Pharmacy Technician and Health Information Technician. Department Chairs from these programs will be on hand to answer questions.
"Our faculty combines seasoned professors with experienced public health practitioners in order to provide our students with an industry relevant education," said Scott Vukoder, Rockford Campus Director. "The demand for allied health graduates is expanding throughout health care and related institutions and industries."
There is an increasing need for employees in the field of allied health for persons with a degree. The United States Department of labor's 2004-2014 projections show an expected growth of 33.3% in jobs for Healthcare Support occupations. Rasmussen College's programs will satisfy the requirements necessary to achieve a job in the ever growing fields associated with Allied Health.
Rasmussen College is located at 6000 E. State Street (Chase Bank Building), on the fourth floor. Food will be served and there will also be raffles for assorted door prizes.
