Rasmussen College Hosts Career And Networking Fair
Wausau Campus Invites Local Community to Network and Apply for Jobs

WAUSAU, Wis., (August 2, 2010) – Rasmussen College will host a free Career and Networking Fair for residents of the surrounding communities at its Wausau campus on Thursday, August 19, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Companies from a variety of industries will be present and looking to fill positions with qualified candidates. Companies planning to attend include Associated Bank, UPS, Travel Guard, and Aspirus. Interested parties are encouraged to attend to gain a competitive edge in the job search process.
Rasmussen College representatives will be on hand to provide information about Master’s degree programs offered through the Rasmussen Partner Network of schools, and Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree programs offered through the local campus, as well as career opportunities within the Rasmussen College system.
“While an economic recovery has begun, many Americans – including Wausau residents - remain unemployed,” Rasmussen College National Director of Career Development Tamryn Hennessy said. “We are honored to have the opportunity to showcase available jobs in the community and to help residents of Wausau and the surrounding area learn about positive steps they can take toward employment.”
