BROOKLYN PARK, Minn., (August 6, 2010) – Rasmussen College invites the local business community to attend Rasmussen College Business Conference 2010, “Engaging Employees for Success,” at its Brooklyn Park campus on Friday, August 20.  Presentations from business leaders will address best practices to secure future company growth through the mind, body and spiritual wellbeing of employees.

“Rasmussen College continues to provide educational opportunities for the communities we serve through events such as the Rasmussen College Business Conference 2010,” Rasmussen College Campus President Dwayne Bertotto said. “With many of our graduates employed in companies based throughout the Twin Cities area, “Engaging Employees for Success,” is our opportunity to provide local business leaders with the resources to maintain best practices that will bring future growth to the Brooklyn Park business community.”

Among the keynote speakers for this event is award-winning photographer Michael Sunnarborg, a dynamic and creative trainer, coach, writer, and teacher who has more than 15 years of experience in the field of training and development. His opening presentation, Project Management for Life, will provide attendees with the tools to find a healthier balance in life by using basic project management principles.  Stevie Ray, a comedian who has worked as a corporate speaker and trainer across the country for more than 20 years, will close the day of activities with his keynote presentation, Think on the Spot with Stevie Rayã, helping people think quick on their feet and handle tough on-the-spot challenges.
