Rasmussen College Hosts Public Artist Exhibitions At Its Lake Elmo/Woodbury Campus

LAKE ELMO, Minn., (August 9, 2010) – Supporting the work of local artists, the Rasmussen College Lake Elmo/Woodbury campus will host an ongoing series of art exhibitions titled “What’s Your Cultural Legacy,” featuring multimedia artwork from area residents. The local community is encouraged to visit the College campus through August 26 to view the work of local artists Robert Glieden and Charles Robert Paige.
Glieden, a Carver, Minn., resident will unveil his collection of black and white photography depicting rural landscapes throughout Minnesota. Paige, whose work has been classified as “Renaissance Art,” will showcase a series of paintings portraying the world through his eyes.
“Through campus programs like the artist exhibition series, Rasmussen College is able to maintain its ongoing mission to support the long-term needs of our students and the communities we collectively serve,” Rasmussen College Campus Director Phillip Kagol said. “Art is an important part of Lake Elmo’s history and we are proud to support area artists as they work to communicate their cultural legacy.”
