ROMEOVILLE, Ill., (August 9, 2010) – Rasmussen College, a premier education provider delivering Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree programs online and through its network of campuses, announced today the addition of full-time Information Technology instructor Jack Hogan. The industry veteran brings more than 10 years of experience to the Romeoville/Joliet campus, where he will help meet the needs of a growing population of students in the School of Technology and Design.
“With many information technology careers expected to grow significantly in the coming years, instructors like Jack Hogan will help provide students with the skills they need to compete in the future workforce,” Rasmussen College Romeoville/Joliet Campus Director Amy King said. “Jack’s valuable real-world experience will allow him to educate students using examples and situations from his own experiences, which students will be able to directly translate into their future careers.”
With a background in hardware, software, multiplatforms, and multimedia Web design, Hogan will be a valuable resource for students at Rasmussen College Romeoville/Joliet. He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Technology. Prior to joining Rasmussen College, Hogan spearheaded telecommunications operations as a telecommunications field engineer for TelSource in Ohio. He has lent his expertise to a variety of IT companies, including Independent Contracts and SBC Illinois.
The Rasmussen College School of Technology and Design offers a wide variety of degree programs specifically designed to meet the demands of growing industries, including an Associate’s in Information Systems Management degree program, with specializations in Computer Information Technology, Database Administration, Network Administration, Network Security & Forensics, and Web Programming, and an Associate’s in Multimedia Technologies degree program, with specializations in Digital Design and Animation and Web Design.
