Rasmussen College Hosts National Career And Networking Fair

More Than 450 Employers in 21 Communities Will Showcase Available Full-Time, Part-Time, Volunteer and Internship Opportunities at August 19 Event

MINNEAPOLIS (August 18, 2010) – Rasmussen College will host a free, system-wide campus locations throughout the Midwest and Florida. More than 450 organizations will participate in the national networking event to highlight a number of available full-time, part-time, volunteer, and internship opportunities.

Rasmussen College representatives will be on hand throughout the day to provide information about Master’s degree programs offered through the Rasmussen Partner Network of schools, and Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree programs offered through the local campuses, as well as career opportunities within the Rasmussen College system.

“While an economic recovery has begun, many Americans remain unemployed,” Rasmussen College National Director of Career Development Tamryn Hennessy said. “We are honored to have the opportunity to showcase available jobs in the community and to help residents of the communities we serve system-wide learn about positive steps they can take toward employment.”

Employers such as Aetna, Wal-Mart, Wells Fargo, and U.S. Bank will be attending the national Career and Networking Fair. Rasmussen College expects upwards of 1,000 attendants based off of last year’s attendance numbers.

Rasmussen College is highly committed to the career success and achievements of its students, and the Career and Networking Fair is one example of this guiding initiative. The Rasmussen College Career Placement Services Team works diligently with students and employers to help them meet their goals. In fact, Rasmussen College has proudly placed 92 percent of its graduates in careers in their field.
