Rasmussen College Tampa/Brandon Launches In-demand Technology And Design Degree Programs

Enrollment Now Open for Bachelor's and Associate's Degree Programs in Areas With Greatest Potential for Occupational Growth

TAMPA, Fla. (September 14, 2010) – Rasmussen College announces the launch of a variety of in-demand degrees, including programs from the increasingly popular School of Technology and Design, at its new Tampa/Brandon campus. Designed to meet industry demands from the growing field, Bachelor’s Degree programs in Digital Design and Animation as well as Associate’s Degree programs in Information Systems Management and Multimedia Technologies, are among the new programs that will be introduced this fall.

Opened in July 2010, the new Tampa/Brandon campus offers a broad range of quality degree programs focused on areas with the greatest potential for growth. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, significant, steady expansion is predicted in the technology and design industry, giving job seekers with professional training in Web design, animation, and information technology an advantage in a competitive job market. Tampa Bay-area residents are encouraged to enroll now for October classes.

“The occupational outlook for technology and design professionals is better than average as perpetual technological advancements create a market need for employees with this unique skill set,” Rasmussen College National Director of Career Development Tamryn Hennessy said “At Rasmussen College, we’re proud of our ability to offer the education and training necessary for our students to graduate with an advantage in the job search process for a wide variety of fields.”

The Rasmussen College Tampa/Brandon School of Technology and Design offers a Bachelor’s in Game and Simulation Production Degree program, a Bachelor’s in Digital Design and Animation Degree program, an Associate’s in Information Systems Management Degree program with specializations in Computer Information Technology, Network Administration, and Network Security and Forensics, and an Associate’s in Multimedia Technologies Degree program with specializations in Digital Design and Animation and Web Design.

In addition to degree programs offered through the School of Technology and Design, prospective students may also enroll in a variety of targeted Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree programs through the Rasmussen College Tampa-Brandon School of Business, School of Justice Studies, and School of Allied Health.
