BROOKLYN PARK, Minn., (October 14, 2010) – Rasmussen College invites the local community to attend the grand opening of its new Technology and Design Center, designed to house its growing School of Technology and Design, on Tuesday, October 26 from 4-7 p.m. Members of the surrounding communities and prospective students are invited to tour the new facility, view demonstrations, enjoy refreshments, and learn about the degree programs it will support, including information technology, web design, web programming, digital design, and network security and forensics.
“Our obligation to the Brooklyn Park community is to offer degrees that are in high demand, ensuring that graduates see the value of their education through better paying jobs,” Rasmussen College Brooklyn Park Campus Director Naomi Mogard said. “The new Technology and Design Center allows students to immerse themselves in the most cutting edge technology used in the rapidly growing fields of multimedia design and technology.”
The additional 11,000 square feet of space at Rasmussen College will help meet the growing demand and technological advancements in the rapidly expanding field of technology and design. It houses high-powered Mac and IT labs, among other top-of-the-line technologies.
