October 19, 2010
MINNEAPOLIS, (October 19, 2010) – Rasmussen College announced today a new partnership with Market Motive, a powerhouse Internet marketing and training company, developed to provide a superior training curriculum for students enrolled in its Business Management Bachelor’s with a specialization in Internet Marketing degree program. Though the demand for Internet marketing professionals is booming, many schools continue to train marketing students in only traditional forms such as television, radio and print. Rasmussen College has partnered with industry leader Market Motive in recognition of the need for high-quality training in modern marketing methods.
Through the new partnership, Rasmussen College will provide expert training curriculum to students directly from members of the Market Motive team of leaders in interactive marketing, including Avinash Kaushik, author of Web Analytics 2.0 and the Analytics Evangelist for Google Inc; Bryan Eisenberg, Conversion Optimization expert and author of Always Be Testing; David Szetela, Paid Search/PPC expert and author of PPC an Hour a Day; and SEO expert Todd Malicoat.
“Rasmussen College has positioned itself at the forefront of modern education by offering an Internet Marketing program that students will benefit from for years to come,” Kaushik said.
Eisenberg added, “Rasmussen College understands that teaching students about conversion optimization is critical for their future business success.”
In addition to honing their skill set through the training curriculum, Rasmussen College Bachelor’s in Internet Marketing students will develop the skills they need to be competitive in the rapidly evolving industry, including creation and management of business properties and products on search engines; development of marketing efforts to drive website traffic and sales; tracking and measuring online advertising programs; social marketing and advanced online marketing techniques.
“As more companies invest in online marketing, the demand for individuals with professional interactive marketing training grows,” Rasmussen College School of Business Director Kathy Heldman said. “Rasmussen College is excited about the new partnership with Market Motive, and we look forward to providing additional value to our business students through curriculum enhanced by a company of such esteemed recognition.”
The Bachelor’s in Business Management with Internet Marketing Specialization degree program, with Market Motive curriculum, is offered at all Rasmussen College campuses except those in Illinois.
