AURORA, Ill., (November 1, 2010) – The Rasmussen College School of Business invites students and members of the community to the sixth installment of its yearlong series, “Local Leaders in Business,” featuring Jacqueline Camacho-Ruiz, owner and director of JJR Marketing Consultants LLC, a company of marketing specialists targeting the 20-something and Hispanic markets. The “Local Leaders in Business” series features local community and business leaders and their insights on important subjects in the business world.

“We are dedicated to providing our students with the education and skills training necessary to succeed in the professional world. It is an honor to host Jacqueline Camacho-Ruiz at Rasmussen College, as her ambition and numerous accomplishments are an inspiration for the business community and students in our School of Business,” Rasmussen College Aurora Campus Director Susan Cheney said. “This installment of our ‘Local Leaders in Business’ series will provide local residents and students with an insightful look at how to reach unique market segments in order to grow a business.”

On Wednesday, November 17, Jacqueline Camacho-Ruiz will present her insight and tips for business professionals from her book, The Little Book of Business Secrets That Work! 200 How-To’s Every Business Professional Needs to Know. Jacqueline is a regular host on “Livin’ the Dream Radio Show” and is an editorial columnist for Ultimas Noticias. She was recently recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing (CADM).
