EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., (November 1, 2010) — Rasmussen College is proud to announce it will move its Eden Prairie campus to a new location in Bloomington, scheduled for completion in spring 2011. The relocation will help alleviate problems that will be caused by the Interstate 494/169 construction project, which will make use of the existing Eden Prairie campus impracticable and will result in more accessibility and an expanded, more modern facility for students.
At more than 30,000 square feet, Rasmussen College Bloomington will be located at 4400 West 78th Street in Bloomington, Minn., on the north side of Interstate 494, between Highway 100 and France Avenue, just three miles from the existing Eden Prairie campus. The state-of-the-art facility will allow Rasmussen College to expand its portfolio of high-demand degree programs, student learning space, library, and laboratory-style classrooms in order to provide more options for students.
“Our new Bloomington campus will offer the same Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree programs tailored to fields with the greatest projected growth with zero educational disruption to current students,” Rasmussen College Eden Prairie Campus Director Jeff Brosz said. “The relocation represents our commitment to providing students the highest-quality academic experience and ensures seamless access for our students and community.”
Rasmussen College Eden Prairie offers Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree programs through its School of Business, School of Technology and Design, School of Allied Health, School of Justice Studies, and School of Education. The higher education provider is dedicated to serving communities by preparing students to be active, productive, and successful contributors and sending qualified professionals armed with high-level skills training and education into their communities to support growing industries.
