“The quality of our education and services is driven by the quality of our team, which is evidenced today as we recognize two employees whose accomplishments at a young age rival many seasoned professionals,” Rasmussen College CEO Thomas Slagle said. “We congratulate Kristy and Staceyann on their achievements and this honorable recognition from the Tampa Bay Business Journal.”
Honored in the “Under 30 years old” category, Kristy Croom Tucker is Director of Communication for Rasmussen College. Her work ensures the successful communication of the higher education provider’s mission to encourage personal and professional development through respect, appreciation and a commitment to general education, as a foundation for life-long learning. A 2007 recipient of the Rasmussen College Harlan Employee Recognition Award, Tucker is also a member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and its Counselor’s to Higher Education section. She earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Journalism from the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas and is an alumnus and past president of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority.
Director of Admissions for Rasmussen College Staceyann Sinclair was honored in the category for professionals 30 to 39 years old. She works to build and lead a team of program managers that sets the stage for higher learning for career-oriented students. In addition to serving as elected National Vice President of Johnson & Wales University Alumni Council, for which she was commencement speaker in 2010, Sinclair is the President of Johnson & Wales University Alumni Tampa Bay Chapter and a member of the Youth Ministry at New Beginnings Church, the Tampa Bay Higher Education Alliance, and the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges.
