APPLETON, Wis., (November 4, 2010) – Celebrating the completion of its new 12,000-square-foot campus in Appleton, Wis., Rasmussen College invites prospective and enrolled students and the local community to attend Campus Preview Day on Wednesday, Nov. 17. Enrolling now for January 2011 classes, the Appleton campus will offer local students on-campus Bachelor’s and Associate’s degrees tailored to high-growth career fields through its School of Business, School of Technology and Design, School of Justice Studies, School of Allied Health, and School of Education. The new campus is one of 21 Rasmussen College locations throughout the Midwest and Florida.
Faculty and staff will be on hand during Campus Preview Day to provide tours of the facility and information about educational opportunities. Prospective students and those currently enrolled in online classes are encouraged to take campus tours, learn about various degree programs and course offerings, browse Rasmussen apparel, and meet other students. All guests will also be entered to win a variety of exciting prizes.
“We are excited to open our third Wisconsin Rasmussen College location and encourage area residents to celebrate with us and tour the new campus,” Rasmussen College Appleton Director of Admissions Tony Possley said. “Our Appleton campus will continue to uphold the standard of quality educational experiences and enrichment events that communities have come to expect from Rasmussen College. Campus Preview Day is designed to help prospective students learn about these offerings and find a degree program that meets their needs, providing the tools to succeed in the ever-changing job market.”
Earlier this month, Rasmussen College in Appleton also announced an articulation agreement with Fox Valley Technical College that allows maximum transfer of credit for Associate’s degree students to begin Bachelor’s degree studies at Rasmussen College. Prospective students interested in this agreement are encouraged to attend Campus Preview Day to gather additional information.
