TAMPA, Fla., (Dec. 13, 2011) – Rasmussen College, a private, career-focused postsecondary institution recently announced their partnership with In-Pulse CPR to offer CPR classes for the public at the College’s five Florida campus locations. In-Pulse CPR is an American Heart Association-authorized provider of CPR and ECC courses. The one-day, four-hour classes will held throughout the next four months at Rasmussen’s Florida college campus locations in Ft. Myers, New Port Richey, Land O’ Lakes, Ocala, and Tampa/Brandon. The first CPR Classes will start this January and are open to both Rasmussen College Students and the general public.

“CPR training is one of the most important skills anyone can master. Whether you’re a nanny, business professional, healthcare provider, youth group leader or even a parent, CPR training can mean all the difference when seconds count,” said Lorrie Laurin, Director of the School of Health Sciences at Rasmussen College. “We encourage everyone to enroll to this event—with just a few hours of training you can save a life.”
In-Pulse CPR classes use the latest equipment including Laerdal and Prestan mannequins and a large selection of AED trainer models. All instructors are either EMT workers or nurses, and all are certified by the American Heart Association.
