FARGO, ND. (February 29, 2012) – With a growing attention from individuals interested in entering into a career in criminal justice, Rasmussen College will be hosting an informational panel discussion and networking event on Thursday, March 8, for students and individuals in the community curious about career opportunities and job requirements needed to enter into the criminal justice field.

WHO: Students and community members interested in learning more about potential career
opportunities in criminal justice and the skills needed to enter these fields.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, qualified law enforcement professionals are in demand, and by 2018, the number of detectives and criminal investigators is expected to increase by 17 percent. The number of probation officers and correctional treatment specialists is expected to increase by 19 percent.
