Earn a Degree in Massage Therapy from Rasmussen College's School of Allied Health
Take a Hands-On Approach to a Hands-On Career with our Massage Therapy School
By obtaining a Massage Therapy Degree, you can set yourself on a path to a more satisfying professional career in the healing arts. While a massage may be given for simple relaxation or stress relief, Massage Therapy for medical benefit can only be practiced by thoroughly trained individuals, providing a specialized type of care.
Additionally, as the health care industry and medical insurance companies have become accepting of Massage Therapy as a legitimate health care treatment for the aid and prevention of several types of injuries and illnesses, more and more opportunities are developing for people who have completed Massage Therapy training. This endorsement by the health care industry has also opened opportunities within the assisted living and nursing home industries, as older citizens seek increased energy levels and reduced health problems, which are benefits graduates with Massage Therapy Training will be able to offer.
