Pharmacy Technician Salary Information

Pharmacy Technician – $22,539 (25th percentile)
Under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians compound and dispense medical prescriptions. They may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Pharmacy Technicians receive and store incoming supplies, verify stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records. May be expected to meet certain state certifications. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the medical field field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
