How We Help
Our Admissions Representatives help people just like you get started and succeed at Rasmussen College.
Freya’s Story
Jeff, an Admissions Representative, had gone through the entire admissions process with Freya. Freya had told Jeff that she wanted to earn a degree to provide a better life for her son and have a career instead of a job.
One week into her courses, Freya called Jeff and told him that she wanted to drop out because she was overwhelmed with this new aspect of her life. Jeff talked with her about how starting school is just like starting a new job. The first couple of weeks can be overwhelming but, soon everything slows down and you begin to wonder how you ever thought the job was hard.
Freya decided to stick with it. She is currently enrolled in her last quarter of classes with a 4.0 GPA, and has been on the Dean and President’s list every quarter.
Carla’s Story
Carla called and spoke with Ryan, an Admissions Representative at Rasmussen College, after first contacting another college. She was upset about the way she had been treated by them. Two Admissions Advisors had an argument over who was going to enroll her, while she was on the phone. During their fight, she decided that she did not want to attend that school.
After her experience, she was unsure about trying an online program, but Ryan explained everything about Rasmussen College and the level of commitment and support offered to all of our students… from enrollment to graduation and beyond. Carla decided to enroll at Rasmussen.
Along the way, Carla ran into some obstacles that could have slowed her down, but she has worked hard to overcome them. Today, she is a dedicated student and maintains an A average in the Accounting program.
Carla and Ryan still stay in touch through e-mail.
