A New Decade, a New You Essay Contest

It’s a brand new decade, and time for a brand new YOU! Tell us in 300 words or less why you are making a college degree part of your future in 2011. Is it family? Is it personal fulfillment? Maybe career advancement? Whatever your motivation, we want you to inspire us with your story.

Grand Prize: The College Survival Prize Pack includes a h#mce_temp_url# tote bag stuffed with Ras Gear goodies, a portable scanner and a digital voice recorder to help you take notes!

2nd Prize: For 3 lucky runners-up, you will receive a $25 Office Depot Gift Card to stock up on college essentials.

Prize Eligibility: Only persons residing in United States who are at least 18 years of age can enter.

Contest Dates: February 14, 2011 @ 12:01 pm (EST) to March 14, 2011 @ 04:58 pm (EDT)

Rules: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest void where prohibited. To be eligible to win, each participant must successfully submit an essay of 300 words or less. Only one essay from each contestant will be accepted and each essay must be the original work of the contestant. Contestants will be contacted for permission if the college wishes to publish their essay. Winners will be selected by and at the sole discretion of the Rasmussen College Social Media Team. All decisions are final. By participating in this contest, you consent to receive additional information from Rasmussen College. Please indicate “Opt-Out” next to your name on your submission if you choose not to receive additional information from Rasmussen College. Please direct any inquiries regarding the contest to socialmedia@Rasmussen.edu. Winners will be notified via e-mail after the contest is closed and a winner has been selected. Allow 4-6 weeks for notification from the close of the contest. Submissions will not be returned to the author. The contest closes March 14, 2011.
