Real/Change Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Scholarship Overview:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in one of the programs listed here to qualify.
  • Student must start in either August or October 2014.
  • Student must maintain a 2.5 cumulative CGPA to receive scholarship.
  • Full-time and part-time course loads are acceptable.
  • The scholarship is available to new students only.
  • Employees of Rasmussen, Inc. and their family members are not eligible to participate.
  • Scholarship is applied as a 10% reduction from the current tuition rate.

Scholarship Terms and Conditions:

Rasmussen College will award scholarships totaling up to $1,400 per year toward your tuition costs—up to $2,800 in additional scholarship funding for an Associate’s degree and $5,600 for a Bachelor’s degree. This scholarship will be awarded quarterly while attending Rasmussen College, and is calculated and applied as a 10% reduction from the current tuition rate. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, new students must enroll at Rasmussen College in one of the following programs: Medical Assisting Diploma or Associate’s Degree, Medical Administration Diploma or Associate’s Degree, Health Information Technician Associate’s Degree, Health Information Management Bachelor’s Degree, Medical Billing & Coding Certificate or Diploma, and Health Sciences Associate’s Degree for one of the following academic start dates: August or October 2014. Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.5 for the duration of their enrollment to receive their scholarship.

A minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 is required to earn the scholarship on an ongoing basis. If a student’s CGPA falls below 2.5 in one quarter, the scholarship will not be awarded for the subsequent quarter. If the student remains continuously enrolled and raises his or her CGPA to 2.5 or above, the scholarship will be awarded in the subsequent quarter.

The scholarship award is non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is allowed. If the student does not start in August or October 2014, any scholarship awarded will be forfeited.

Rasmussen College and its agents assume no responsibility for damages, losses, or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the scholarship award. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Scholarship recipients must start classes in August or October 2014. This scholarship is offered by Rasmussen College, and is open to legally eligible applicants. This offer is void wherever prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Must be 18 years or older as of selected program start date.

This scholarship is limited to $1,400 per year for a maximum amount of $5,600 for a Bachelor’s degree program and $2,800 for an Associate’s degree program. The Real/Change Scholarship can be applied in addition to other discounts and scholarships, including our Achieve scholarship. Students must meet all general college and program specific entrance requirements, along with all applicable continuing academic and programmatic requirements.
