At Rasmussen college we're dedicated to an exceptional learning experience, superb support services, and an affordable tuition. We're excited to announce that we are reducing our intuition by 24%, and locking it in for students who remain continuously enrolled.
At Rasmussen college transfer policies are intentionally designed to minimize time to graduation, and minimize their tuition by maximizing transfer of credit.
When I was able to sit down with my student adviser and go through my former college credits, she was able to tell me that I could actually transfer in 27 of my former credits and that's nine classes.
The benefits of the financial aid department brings to our students is that we educate them as to the financial aspect of their degree, which can sometimes be the most frightening piece. We offer options so that the student can decide what works best for them. We offer years of experience to demonstrate that going back to school and obtaining a higher education is possible. And with all these together, it gives the student the confidence that they can do the same.
Many will ask us how we're affording this level of tuition reduction. And the reality is, we've always been committed to students. And we will remain committed to students. We have an exceptional learning experience. It's wrapped around excellent support services and it remains affordable and it's become even more affordable. Rasmussen college has worked hard at finding operational efficiencies, and we're passing those savings onto our students. It's the right thing to do.
Making a full-time commitment to college education pays off. Introducing the NEW Achieve Scholarship—designed to help incoming students who enroll in 12 or more credits at Rasmussen College save money. Students who enroll at full-time status may qualify to be awarded $500 per quarter—up to $7,500 on a Bachelor’s degree.*
In 2012, we awarded more than $11 million in scholarships and grants to our students. We work to give students as many opportunities as possible to increase the affordability of their education through:

In an effort to continuously provide our students with the best investment possible and help them see the results of their investment as quickly as possible, we reduced tuition costs up to 24% for full-time students.* Our new tuition structure also incentivizes students to graduate quicker.
In the last three years, without reducing our student support services or the quality of our education, we developed a cost-reduction strategy to keep our tuition from increasing, and now we are going even further and reducing tuition costs.
We understand the needs of our students are always changing. To help ensure our students’ needs are met, and provide them with the most successful higher education investment possible, we lowered our tuition costs.
With all the difficult financial choices college students must make, our lowered tuition costs can help them continue to choose higher education—and not sacrifice their degree due to financial concerns.
Responding to market demand for more affordable higher education costs, we focused our efforts on developing a strategy to reduce operational and marketing expenses—and pass those savings on to our students in the form of long-term tuition reduction by:
We reduced our tuition costs, but we did not reduce the amount we invest in our high-quality education and student support services. SUPPORT+, our network of comprehensive student support services, has not decreased—our students still receive all of those benefits to help increase their classroom and career success. As a regionally accredited college, the quality of the education we provide also remains high as we continue to invest in our students and advance our hands-on learning model by equipping our campuses with:
Public education institutions have increased tuition by 42% throughout the last 11 years.* At Rasmussen College, we instituted a Tuition Lock, which guarantees tuition costs will not increase for continuously enrolled students—from enrollment through graduation.*
Tuition Lock gives peace of mind to continuously enrolled students that their tuition costs will remain constant—and not increase—so they can focus on their coursework and graduation.
We designed our transfer policies to give our students college credit for the knowledge they previously gained in courses at other colleges—saving our students time and money, and helping them start their careers quicker.
In fact, with our transfer policies, our AcceleratED students transfer in an average of 91 credits.* Our dedicated transfer specialists evaluate each student’s transcript for maximum credit transfer through:
