About the Rasmussen College Surgical Technologist Program

Surgical technologists are an integral part of the surgical care team, helping prep for and assisting during a surgery. The Rasmussen College Surgical Technologist Associate’s degree program in Brooklyn Park/Maple Grove, which is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP),2 provides hands-on learning in a fully equipped and industry-standard simulated surgical suite so that students can learn common procedures and technology used in the operating room as well as tactics for handling high-pressure situations.
