Minneapolis (July 23, 2020)—Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced the launch of its Next Step Grant to help recent high school graduates save up to $4,000 in tuition and fees. The grant is exclusively for 2020 high school graduates starting college classes at Rasmussen College in the 2020 calendar year. The next academic start is August 5 followed by our October and November start dates.
The goal of the Next Step Grant is to help recent high school graduates work toward earning a college degree during a time when in-person instruction and financial commitments are a concern.
“The College recognizes the unprecedented times our nation and students are in as they consider all of their options in pursuing a college education safely and at an affordable cost,” said Dr. Ann Leja, interim president at Rasmussen College. “The Next Step Grant allows our recent high school graduates to start their college educational journey strong with access to flexible, online and in-demand programs that matter in the real world and at a discounted price. Additionally, we’re proud to be a leader in online education with nearly 20 years’ experience offering online courses. Our mission is to help students emerge from this time stronger and more successful.”
Rasmussen College offers more than 50 degree programs across seven schools of study and award-winning support from peer tutors and mentors. The Next Step Grant is awarded quarterly for a maximum of eight quarters for eligible 2020 graduates and is non-renewable.
