Rasmussen College Redesigns Technology Career-Focused Programs to Prepare Students to Work in Today’s Digital Economy

College focuses on closing the technical skills gap

Minneapolis (August 16, 2017)–Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college,1 today announced three newly redesigned technology career-focused degree programs: Network Systems Administration Associate’s degree, Information Technology Associate’s degree and the Information Technology Management Bachelor’s degree-completion programs. These degree options are designed to prepare students to enter in-demand technology careers and help close the technical skills gap in rapidly transforming fields.

“The pace of change is faster than ever in today’s digital economy. It is imperative our students are prepared to navigate evolving network issues, configure and protect priceless information and are equipped for the unpredictable future,” said Jennifer Ayotte, department dean for the School of Technology at Rasmussen College. “By redesigning these degree programs in our School of Technology, we are able to align with industry trends, focus on the importance of security and troubleshooting and better prepare students to succeed in a variety of industries requiring both business and technology skills.”

The newly redesigned Technology programs are also offered with Flex Choice®–a more flexible and affordable learning option that allows students to combine traditional courses and self-directed assessments. All three programs can also be completed in as few as 18 months.2 Enrollment is immediately available with courses beginning in October.
