Is Your Online Brand Helping or Hurting Your Career? [Infographic]

Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have become second nature to many of us. Social media is a part of our daily lives – so much that we often fail to think about what we share now might hurt or even help us in the future. According to a recent Rasmussen College survey, 33 percent of employers say they check a job candidate’s online presence.

But what are they actually looking at? At what point in the interview process are they searching for candidates online? And what are they even looking for?

We asked hundreds of employers those very questions. We also asked the jobseekers themselves what they thought employers were looking at. As it turns out, job candidates may be missing a big opportunity.

Check out the infographic below to ensure your online brand makes a great first and lasting impression.
