Message from the Campus Director - Amy King

Welcome to Rasmussen College in Romeoville, Illinois! We are proud to serve Will County and DuPage County at our beautiful and inviting campus. At Rasmussen College, we are committed to providing each of our students with a positive, enriching, and successful educational experience. Our convenient day, evening, and online courses work to fit your schedule. Plus, through SUPPORT+, our comprehensive network of student services, we strive to provide the level of support you need to be successful—whether it is financial aid assistance, 24/7 technical support, tutoring, or career services.

Our mission is to serve as an integral part of the local community. We actively support the Romeoville, Joliet, Plainfield, and Bolingbrook Chambers of Commerce. We invest in the Will County Center for Economic Development, where I also serve on the Board of Directors. The campus team has actively supported non-profit organizations, including Kiwanis, Junior Achievement, DuCAP, Habitat for Humanities, and March of Dimes, among many others. We also routinely host and sponsor area events to support local initiatives. We are continuously seeking additional partnerships with area educators and businesses to support educational development.

  • From Pillars to PCs: The Evolution of the 'Traditional' College Experience A college lecture used to be given to a classroom of newly graduated 18-year-olds looking for the 'time of their life' and the 'full college experience'. However, times have changed. Often these days, students attend college part-time, as well as attend lectures online and are also busy working and/or providing for their family.
