Message from the Campus Director - Jonathan C. Otterbacher

Welcome to our Rasmussen College Green Bay campus!

Our goal is simple: to help you earn the education you need to fulfill your goals. Through SUPPORT+, our comprehensive network of student support services, we provide you with the level of student support you need when you need it. From financial services support and tutoring, to career services and technical support, to everything in between, our SUPPORT+ team members are here to help and guide you through your degree and into your career.

Earning a college degree is a large commitment, and I commend you for making the decision to become a college graduate. I’d also like you to keep in mind a few thoughts as you earn your degree:

1.Enjoy the Journey.
Throughout your courses, take time to enjoy the journey. Take advantage of all the teachable moments along the way. See those moments, embrace them, and remember your role as a life-long learner.

2. Know that the law of nature is really quite simple:
“If you do the thing, you will have the power. If you do NOT do the thing, you will NOT have the power.”
While this is a universal law of nature, it also applies to your higher education journey. As you take the step to pursue your goal, you also have the power to fulfill it. Collaborate with those closest to you and the mentors you trust, and then make the decision.

3. “Act as if it were impossible to fail.” --Dorthea Brande, Wake Up and Live
I would encourage you to embrace this quote as a mantra or slogan to guide you along your journey.   It can help you persevere in times of ambiguity and adversity, and will affirm your moments of triumph and achievement.

Here’s a final thought as you explore the world of possibilities inside Rasmussen that eagerly awaits you.

“Where are the good chances today
In the Individual that never gives way to discouragement.
Who ALWAYS faces towards the sun.
Who ACTS, THINKS, and LIVES in expectation of success.”
Orison Swett Marden
1906.

I am excited you are considering our Green Bay campus as the place to earn your college degree! I encourage you to visit our campus anytime for a tour and to speak with a program manager about how our campus can help you become a college graduate.

Sincerely,

Jon
